Job profile:    Machine-diagnostics /vibration analyst

 

Work place:                Located in Beijing, China.

 

Recruitment

start-up:        as soon as posible

 

Salary:                        To be agreed upon / In-line with rest of team      :         

 

Work hours:               The candidate should show flexibility and in busy periods be prepared to make an extra effort / In-line with rest of team      

 

Theoretical  

Education:                 The candidate has a relevant theoretical education as e.g. mechanical engineer (with a vibration analysis course or experience), engineer or electronic engineer with experience of frequency analysis. Vibration Certificate Preferred.

 

 

Work experience:      Recently educated within the description other wise 3-5 years experience in design of e.g. machinery of plants, with data analysis or engineering. Experience with maintenance of machine plants is also required.

 

                                   Likely some experience with vibrations analysis and frequency analysis. Important that he or she are in a place in carrier where space for learning and shaping is possible.

 

            

Language:                  English at minimum CET4 Level. Strong English language preferred.          

 

IT:                              Super user level: Office-package

                                  

       

Responsibility area:  MD is part of a team that is responsible for condition monitoring of more than 4000 wind turbines for various customers on a global basis. In addition a strong focus on the Chinese market is expected where customer focus and support are keywords. 

 

MD is also responsible for analyzing and diagnosing alarms and report to the customer's technicians and assisting customers in doing same with BK Vibro standalone software

 

MD is responsible for monitoring the vibration data and responsible for registering and reporting irregularities to the customer.

MD ensures that the correct recommendations are given based on the received data.

 

MD work in both a China Diagnostic Team and a Global Team.

Tasks:      

 

Technical:                  Monitoring systems
Analysis and diagnosis of alerts. In this context there will be close contact with the customer's service organizations.

Preparation of reports in response to alarms.

Follow up on recommendations.

Participating in the constantly improving development of

monitoring systems and testing new monitoring forms.

 

Working across boarders:  

Daily communication and reporting to department in

Denmark regularly. Especially in training period focus on follow up is required.
MD has to have the possibility to Travel to Europe.  

 

 

Cooperating criteria:

1.   The MD team: consists of 8 employees in Denmark, 2 in China and 1 in U.S. with different competences. MD uses each others knowledge and abilities and contributes actively to the team.  

2.   Developers: Dialog concerning improvement of existing knowledge and newer knowledge. 

3.   Sales: Dialog concerning customers in the newer projects.

MD has high focus which means that he or she does not lose focus from core tasks, even if other tasks press on.

 

MD is able to go in depth with tasks that require this, but still manages to judge when enough is enough.
MD is results oriented and would like to see things happen. MD also has entrepreneur spirit which renders him or her active contribution in the form of further development and improvement of systems.

MD is customer oriented and a good communicator. MD manages to convey an important message accurately.


MD has a separate profile where he or she can make independent decisions when required.

MD is flexible in relations to grant extra effort when necessary.

This is a strong diagnostic team who are able to exploit each others’ core competencies and interdisciplinary.
It is assumed therefore that the new MD is team oriented and able to exploit the value of such a team and actively contribute to it.

 

Success Criteria:            The candidate must after 3 months be able to handle the "standard" alarms, report them and relieve colleagues with tasks.

 

The candidate must after 6 months be able to have developed his expertise in the field and perform selected areas and clients independently.

 

The candidate must after 12 months be able to work independently and handle full responsibility.
Contribute in proportion to the further development of existing and new systems and solutions.
